The research carried out by Koru, in partnership with Flash, which resulted in the ebook “HR Trends 2025” revealed a diverse panorama of current approaches to leadership development in Brazil.

Conducted between October and November 2024, the survey included the opinions of 173 HR leaders from 65 Brazilian companies.

The data shows that 32.9% of organizations  buy telemarketing data do not have formal programs for leadership development, highlighting a significant gap in the preparation of future managers.

On the other hand, 30.5% of companies have already implemented structured and formal programs with well-defined curricula. Strategies such as practical training (17.1%) and mentoring/coaching (13.4%) are also gaining ground, valuing real and personalized experiences.

However, only 3.7% of organizations have successor training programs, suggesting a failure to plan for leadership continuity. These figures highlight the need to invest in innovative and practical models that meet the demands of the future of work.

Trends in professional training

Leadership development programs have varied prospects for 2025. According to the HR Trends 2025 book, 51.2% of companies intend to expand these programs, increasing the number of participants and resources.

On the other hand, 30.5% are in the evaluation phase, reviewing current initiatives to decide whether to expand or reduce. 15.9% opt for stability, maintaining programs without significant changes, while a minority of 2.4% plan to reduce the scope or number of programs offered.

Leadership training needs to keep up with the speed of technological changes and new employee expectations.
