Stage of the 2013 Tour

Last Sunday I participated in the 2013 Tour Annecy Semnoz Stage of the  stage
. It was my first time participating in this
type of ultra-mass event, with 11,500 participants, but
fortunately the roads were closed. The shorter-than-usual route, and especially with the start/finish not far away, made me
decide. It was when I picked up my bib that I realized
the sheer scale of the event: stands as far as the eye could see,
thousands of people, and entertainment everywhere. It was a change from the peaceful atmosphere
at the Grand Bo last week. Very different, let’s say, but

Both have their advantages

In short, I’m lucky enough to have a bib for SAS 1
with a start proposed at 7 a.m. but line-up possible whatsapp number list from 6 a.m. Being Stage of the  hosted
by my family 20 minutes by bike, I don’t see myself leaving at 5:40 a.m. to be
there at 6 a.m. Moreover, not having the endurance to do the course at
full speed, my ambitions are much more limited for this event. Indeed,
even if I managed to perform well on 2500 to 3000mD+ last carat, I know
very well that the Semnoz will be difficult to pass after Quintal instead of 3000mD+.
In short, I manage to hurt myself to get out of bed around 5:20 a.m. and be
in my pen around 6:25 a.m. but surprise, I’m already
at the very back. In front of 800 super motivated cyclists!

Okay, the race is already over,
or close to it. I know that the first pass will come much too quickly to
climb enough, and the road won’t be wide enough to overtake without hindrance
afterwards…

Waiting while randomly meeting S.Bellenoue

(CC Etupe coach) and a regular conversion rate optimization blogger!

7 a.m. so it’s off to a flying start,
riding at 45 km/h for the first 10 km then the Puget hill looms. As expected and even without
going full throttle towards 270/280w, I’m just overtaking people and it will be the same
until the next one in Leschaux. The weather
is magnificent, the scenery splendid, the roads closed and generally in book your list good
condition, it’s already a great day of cycling anyway.
