What is exact word matching?

Finding the right translation from thousands of content can be challenging, especially if you manage a multilingual website with a lot of text. Linguise understands this need and continues to improve its dashboard to make it more efficient and accurate for its users.

The Linguise dashboard now features precise word matching in the translation search filter. This feature allows you to find more relevant and accurate search results by typing in the word you want. How does this feature work and what can it do for you? Check out the full feature update!

Exact word matching is a feature

That allows users to search for translations based on exact word matches, rather than just partial matches. For example, if you type “CHF,” the argentina phone number data system will only display translation results that contain the exact word “CHF,” and not other words that include those letters, such as “Chfile.”

This feature was introduced in response to user feedback highlighting the difficulty in searching for specific terms, such as three-letter currency codes like “CHF,” “GBP,” or “US dollar.” Previously, the search function returned too many irrelevant results because it matched parts of words rather than the full word. With precise word matching, the search process becomes much more accurate and efficient, especially when managing large amounts of content.
